Commissioning a planning system includes accepting all the components of the planning system, verifying and validating the calculation algorithms, modeling the machine data and configuring the planning system based on the desired algorithms to be used clinically. A printed report will be submitted after performing all the necessary quality assurance and spot checks.
IMRT/Rapid Arc/SmartArc Implementation:
- Beam Data collection for small fields (MLC measurements)

- Developing a routine machine specific & patient specific QA system
- Performing test QA plans and validating the accuracy with the delievery
- Training the Dosimetrist’s on the planning features specific to the planning system

Performing all the measurements for accommodating IMRT optimization and calculation based on vendors recommendation, verifying and validating the calculation algorithms, modeling the machine data and configuring the planning system based on the desired algorithms to be used clinically for IMRT/Rapid Arc. Developing/assisting in formulating machine specific and patient specific quality assurance program, providing assistance to the dosimetry staff on planning and supporting them by reviewing their plans remotely. A formal report will be submitted after performing all the QA.
SRS/SBRT Program Implementation:
- Beam Data collection for small fields (MLC measurements)
- Modelling & configuring the planning system to support SRS/SBRT computation
- Developing a routine machine specific & patient specific QA system
- Performing end to end test validating all the components in the planning & delievery process
- Assisting the clinical group on the planning features specific to planning system
- Remote support to dosimetry in reviewing the plans

Developing/assisting in formulating machine specific and patient specific quality assurance program, providing assistance to the entire technical staff on planning, reviewing few initial plans and QA. A formal report after confirming the integrity of all the components involved in the planning and delivery process.
